Manatee Watch/Snorkel Tour
Our first snorkel stop for the day is done at “sleepy hole” one of the main entrances to the world’s largest under water cave systems. The entrance is surrounded by huge star and brain corals. Large groupers, snappers and sometimes even bull sharks can be seen disappearing into the hole as we approach. We then move on to “needle fish cut” famous for large needle fish and barracudas.
After our second stop we maze through mangrove cayes on our way to historical St. George’s caye where we have lunch. After lunch we head on to Swallow Caye a protected area where Manatees can be viewed from the boat. On the way back to Caye Caulker we snorkel at the “twin tunnels” another entrance to the world’s largest under water cave systems.
SCHEDULE; 9:30AM to 4:30PM
INCLUDES; snorkel gears, water, fruits, park fees and lunch
